Getting your test results
On average, please allow 7 working days for your blood test results to come back from the hospital. Please note that X-ray and scan results take longer.
If you are bringing in a specimen, please make sure that it is here before 2pm.
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your Patient Access account
- by phoning us on 01992 761185 and we will tell you what the results are
- as a text message, if you have consented and it is applicable
