NHS right service

The NHS is facing unprecedented pressures. Ambulance services as well as Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments are facing very long wait times for patients to be seen. To ensure we all do our part to support the local NHS services, we are asking our patients to think more carefully about using the appropriate service for their symptoms. Enfield patients can access GP services in one of our local hubs giving access to appointments until 8pm on weekdays and 8am-8pm on weekends and bank holidays.

A&E and 999 should be used for life-threatening emergencies only. Examples of medical emergencies include (but are not limited to): chest pain, difficulty in breathing, unconsciousness, severe loss of blood, severe burns or scalds, choking, fitting or concussion, drowning and severe allergic reactions.
