On average, please allow 7 working days for your blood test results to come back from the hospital. Please note that X-ray and scan results take longer. If you are bringing in a specimen, please make sure that it is here before 14:00. Most results are visible online via our online services. Please complete our online form if you wish to register for online services.

If the result is complicated, or if the doctor wants to see you about the result, we will offer you an appointment. We will only give results to the person who has had the test. If you wish to speak to a doctor or nurse regarding results, or are in need of medical/nursing advice, please book a telephone consultation.
